How many middle school and high school students are sexually active? Not near as many as you might think. According to a 2005 National Survey of 13-17 year olds done for NBC and People magazine, only 21% of America's teens have engaged in sexual activity. Only 13% of the students had had sexual intercourse. Only 12% had had oral sex (National Survey of Young Teens Sexual Attitude and Behaviors conducted by Princeton Survey Research Associates International).

Not only is not everybody doing it, but the
vast majority of young people are not doing it.
